Ausstellung – Kaiser und Sultan

Am Donnerstag, den 05. März 2020, fand ein interreligiöses Gespräch im Rahmen der Karlsruher Ausstellung “Kaiser und Sultan” statt.
Bei der Ausstellung handelt es sich unter anderem um eine Trophäensammlungen aus den ehemaligen „Türkenkriegen“ des 17. Jahrhunderts. Sie rückt die zivilisatorischen Neuerungen in den Mittelpunkt, die im Schatten von Machtpolitik und Glaubenskonflikten beim aufeinander Treffen von „Kaiser und Sultan“ entstanden: Innovationen in Architektur, Kunst und Mode oder die Einführung neuer technischer Verfahren.
Inspiriert von den kulturellen Verbindungen zwischen den Großreichen von Kaiser und Sultan und einem friedlichen Zusammenleben, trafen an diesem Abend Pfarrer Dirk Keller (Stadtkirche Karlsruhe) und unser DMK-Vorsitzender Rüstü Aslandur unter einem osmanischen Zelt im Karlsruher Schloss zusammen.
